Objective 5:
Environmental Issues
Improve the knowledge of the SME’s involved in the project on environment and
clean technology issues and on industrial safety, labor and gender matters.
Action 1
Prepare a list of all relevant literature available for a library to be located
in ESALIA offices on environment, clean technology, work safety, labor, and
gender issues relevant to the hides and skins based sector of the industry.
Output 1
Latest documentation collected from the various organizations involved in the
tanning and leather industry environmental issues, industrial safety, labor and
gender matters. Distribution of this library through ESALIA to the SME’s working
in the sector.
Action 2
Distribute the materials to the SME’s participating in the project for
information and organizing an information dissemination seminar in connection
with one of the get-togethers to be organized during the project
